Iowa Pork Congress, opening Wednesday, features new seminars
The Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) says there are eleven new seminars at the 2016 Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines this week.
The 44th annual convention and tradeshow Jan. 27 and 28 at the Iowa Events Center features leading industry experts conducting sessions on regulations, prices and profitability. IPPA also is offering several key panel discussions on pit foaming, emerging swine health challenges, alternative energy sources and water quality. In addition to the seminars, producers can obtain or renew certification in the pork industry’s PQA Plus and TQA program as well as manure application.
