The world’s largest ethanol producer is getting bigger

POET says three of its biorefineries will increase ethanol production capacity by a combined 25 million gallons in 2016.

POET Biorefining in Hanlontown, Iowa will increase production 6 million gallons per year. The Hudson, South Dakota facility will increase capacity by seven million gallons and POET Biorefining at Caro, Michigan will increase production from 55 million gallons per year to 67 million.

Production records were set at 17 POET biorefineries in 2015.
