The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service has announced a nationwide beef recall.

Huisken Meat Company of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota is recalling nearly 90,000 pounds of beef products that may be contaminated with extraneous wood materials.

The Sam’s Choice Black Angus beef patties with Vidalia onion two pound boxes that were produced between November 19th and December 9th of 2015 are subject to the recall.

Huisken says the products bear the establishment number 394A inside the USDA mark of inspection and were shipped to retailers across the U.S.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

Consumers are urged to throw the beef patties away or return them to the place of purchase.
