Programs ICON

Missouri’s cotton and sorghum harvests are nearly over for the year.

Producers made modest progress over the past week, with fieldwork limited by heavier than normal precipitation.

96% of cotton is harvested, compared to the five year average of 94%, and 96% of sorghum is harvested, compared to 98% on average.

96% of winter wheat has emerged, ahead of the 86% typical for this time of year, with 49% of the crop rated good to excellent and 42% called fair.

54% of pastures and rangelands are in fair condition.

Weekly crop progress reports resume in April.
