Teaching risk management through lessons in history
Chicago Board of Trade member Tommy Grisafi says one has to look back to find out why the markets are doing what they’re doing now. Grisafi, a broker at Advance Trading, talks to audiences about risk management by first giving a lesson in recent history.
In spite of the fact that many fields were either flooded out or never planted this season, Grisafi says there was still enough bounty in the harvest to put pressure on commodity prices.
When asked about his outlook for corn and soybeans, he says that he’s “cautiously pessimistic.”
