85% of U.S. corn, 92% of soybeans harvested

This year’s U.S. corn and soybean harvests are heading into the finish, moving faster than average.

As of Sunday, 85% of corn is harvested, compared to 75% a week ago and the five year average of 79%, and 92% of soybeans are harvested, compared to 87% last week and 88% on average.

88% of winter wheat is planted and 72% has emerged, both a little slower than normal. 49% of winter wheat is rated good to excellent, up 2% on the week, but down 10% on the year.
