A BIG congratulations to one of our own Brownfield reporters, Bob Meyer, on receiving his Honorary American FFA Degree this year at the National FFA Convention held October 28-31 in Louisville, Kentucky. Bob has had a lifelong involvement with the Wisconsin FFA and National FFA Organizations. From serving as vice president of his hometown chapter in Loyal, Wisconsin to serving the FFA state-wide as Sentinel, his high school years showed his love and dedication to the organization and it has continued since then, as an alumni and in his reporting. Some of his other FFA honors include:
• State Degree 1972
• Third Place National FFA Prepared Speaking Contest 1973
• Charter member and chapter vice president Loyal FFA Alumni 1978
• Wisconsin FFA Distinguished Service Award 1995
• Honorary State Degree 2009
• 4 Honorary Chapter Degrees

Congrats Bob, you deserve it!
