Wisconsin crops are coming in

Wisconsin soybeans

The weekly Crop Progress Report from the National Ag Statistics Service has 81 percent of the Wisconsin corn crop mature, 2 points ahead of the five-year average. 16 percent of the corn-for-grain has been harvested, 7 points behind the five-year average. The crop is rated 79 percent in good to excellent condition.

The Wisconsin soybean crop is rated 81 percent good to excellent condition, 95 percent of the soybeans have dropped their leaves, 4 points ahead of average and 46 percent of the beans have been combined, just slightly behind the five-year average.

A lot of fall tillage and manure hauling as farmers are choosing to let the crops mature a little more in the fields.
