Wisconsin cows top the show

Supreme edit

The Supreme Champion at World Dairy Expo 2015 is Lovhill Goldwyn Katrysha. The Holstein is owned by MilkSource Genetics of Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Katrysha was the first place winner in the Six-Year-Old & Over class, Senior and Grand Champion Female, and Best Udder in the International Holstein Show. As Supreme Champion, Katrysha receives the Gregory Blaska Memorial Trophy, a $1,500 cash award sponsored by BouMatic, a royal blanket sponsored by Agpro, Inc., and a director’s chair sponsored by International Protein Sires.

Reserve Supreme Champion was Musqic Iatola Martha-ET. Martha was exhibited by Shelby Ostrom of Kaukauna, Wisconsin. She was named first Four-Year-Old and Best Udder, along with Senior and Grand Champion Female at the International Jersey Show at World Dairy Expo. As the 2015 Reserve Supreme Champion, Martha receives a $1,000 cash award sponsored by American Honda Motor Company, Inc., a royal blanket sponsored by E-Zee Milking Equipment, LLC, and a director’s chair sponsored by Joe and Patti Schluter.

The other breed champions were:

  • 2015 International Red & White Show; Strans-Jen-D Tequila-Red-ET owned and exhibited by MilkSource Genetics of Kaukauna.
  • 2015 International Guernsey Show: Misty Meadows Levi Suede-ET owned and exhibited by Beth Anne Clark of New Paris, Pennsylvania.
  • 2015 International Brown Swiss Show; Brown Heaven Glenn Fantasy, owned by Ferme Brown Heaven of Vercheres, Québec..
  • 2015 International Milking Shorthorn Show; Cates Ruben Tulsa-Time-EXP, owned by Peter J Cate of Warren, New Hampshire.

River Valley Farm, of Tremont Illinois, was named the World Dairy Expo Overall Herdsmanship winner.
