Nebraska bankers discuss urban, rural economies
On Tuesday of Husker Harvest Days, we stopped by the Nebraska Bankers Association (NBA) booth to visit with Michael Pate, president and CEO of United Republic Bank of Omaha and chairman of the NBA, and Jerry Catlett, senior vice president of Bruning State Bank of Bruning, who serves as chairman-elect of the NBA. Pate and Catlett gave us their thoughts on how the urban and rural economies are faring as we move through 2015.
