h2014-mike-pence

An expansion to one of Indiana’s pork processing plants is expected to create more Hoosier jobs and produce more pork products for export.  The more than $40 million expansion to the Indiana Packers plant in Delphi will create over 90 jobs in the next year. The announcement came during Governor Mike Pence’s visit with officials of Mitsubishi Corporation and its Indiana subsidiary, Indiana Packers Corporation, in Tokyo yesterday.

Pence says, “International companies like Indiana Packers are choosing to locate and grow in the Hoosier State because they recognize the benefits of our low-cost, low-tax business climate.”

Indiana Packers Corporation processes pork and bacon for the United States, Japan, and Mexico.
