Wisconsin FFA Foundation golf outings raise $26,500

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation says its three summer golf outings raised more than $26,500 to support the Wisconsin FFA. Some 280 golfers and nearly 90 ag businesses and organizations were involved in the outings in Eau Claire, Wrightstown and Middleton.

The proceeds contribute to the Foundation’s annual fund. During the 2014-15 year, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation’s annual fund supplemented 23 Proficiency Award areas and Career Development Events. It also significantly aided in the 2014-15 state officer team training and leadership training materials.

Foundation Executive Director Sara Schoenborn thanks the many generous sponsors and participants who made the outings a great success.

Next year’s outings are scheduled for July 11, 12 and 25.
