Commodity board election results announced

Results of the state agricultural commodity board elections have been announced.  The elections filled positions on the Illinois Corn Marketing Board, the Illinois Soybean Program Operating Board, and the Wool Marketing Board.

The boards oversee the use of check-off dollars.

Illinois Corn Marketing Board –
District 2 – Louis Lamoreaux of Lanark
District 5 – Paul Jeschke of Mazon
District 8 – Michael Wurmnest of Deer Creek
District 11 – Don Murphy of Harvel
District 14 – Karen Neff of Belleville

Illinois Soybean Program Operating Board
Distrcit 2 – William Awe of St. Charles
District 10 – Jered Hooker of Clinton
District 11 – Doug Schroeder of Mahomet
District 14 – Sherri Kannmacher of Martinsville
District 16 – Timothy Scates of Carmi
District 17 – David Droste of Nashville

Newly elected board members will serve three-year terms.
