Mycogen Seeds sponsors Dillon car for Brickyard

2015 No. 3 Mycogen Seeds Chevrolet SS

Mycogen Seeds will again sponsor Austin Dillon’s Number 3 car at this year’s Brickyard 400.

Damon Palmer, U.S. Seeds marketing director, Dow AgroSciences says the sponsorship is a great fit.  “Austin and others at Richard Childress Racing have a great history and a great love for agriculture,” he says.  “It’s been a great partnership and we’re excited to do it.  It’s also here on our home-turf – the Brickyard 400 is right here in the middle of the Corn Belt.”

Driver Austin Dillon says he’s excited to drive the car again this year.  “I appreciate the support of Mycogen Seeds,” he says.  “I give a special thank you to all American farmers who feed, fuel and clothe the world.  Your hard work sets the pace both on and off the track.”

And, Palmer says it’s a great way to start a dialogue about the importance of agriculture.  “There’s the broader audience that watches NASCAR – which is very diverse around the country – both geographically and other backgrounds,” he says.  “It really gets agriculture and the Mycogen Seeds name out there.”

The 2015 Brickyard 400 is Sunday, July 26, at 3:30 p.m. ET at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
