Wisconsin State Fair meat products winners

The winners have been selected for the 24th annual Governor’s Blue Ribbon Meat Products Auction at the Wisconsin State Fair.  Conducted by the Wisconsin Association of Meat Processors, the contest featured more than 140 entries this year.

The Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion in each of eight categories will be auctioned-off to benefit the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation on Tuesday evening, August 11th in the Case I-H Coliseum.  Last year’s auction raised more than $150,000 to support programs for the state’s 350,000 4-H youth.

The auction is open to the public, tickets are $30 and can be purchased in advance online here.
