Agriculture will be one of the highlights of this week’s National Lt. Governors Association Meeting.

Indiana Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann says hosting the conference will be an opportunity to showcase how agriculture plays a vital role in the state’s economy.  “We will have panels representing our best companies – all those involved in agriculture and discuss what the important issues to support agriculture in their states,” she says.  “Those kind of discussions are very important because we will be impacting the policy makers in states across the nation.”

On Friday Iowa Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds will moderate a panel on agriculture and food security.
