Tri-State RCPP enrollment begins July 1

Farmers in designated watersheds in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana can enroll in the Tri-State Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) beginning July 1. 

Terry Cosby, State Conservationist in Ohio says the $17.5 million from USDA will be provide a significant boost to improve water quality in the basin. 

“It’s going to give landowners in this region more of an opportunity to apply conservation practices on the ground,” said Cosby. “Now we’re able to have some funds to implement these plans.” 

Enrollment in the Tri-State RCPP begins Wednesday, July 1 and runs through Friday, July 17 at local USDA Service Center offices.
