Record year for Wisconsin FFA Foundation

2014-15 was a very good year for the Wisconsin FFA Foundation: a record $555,496.07 was raised, up 10 percent from the previous year.  Past president Lori Lulich said the Foundation is stronger than ever as is the state of the Wisconsin FFA Association.

Travis Holt of Citizens State Bank of Loyal will serve as Foundation president this year.  Amber Vickers Keller of Union Bank & Trust is vice president, Scott Vosters, The Bank of New Glarus is secretary and Nick Hemling of Animart is treasurer.

Additional 2015-2016 board members include: Jon Anderson, Grade A Strategic Bank and Marketing Solutions; Robin Connelly, Organic Valley/CROPP Cooperative; Ginger James, AgroChem; Darren Kittleson, Keller Williams Realty; Jason Kollwelter, We Energies; William Lucas, CNH Industrial Capital; Kathleen A. Murphy, John Deere Financial; Janice Schyvinck, Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association; Luke Wiedenfeld, Kraft Foods-Oscar Mayer; Tim Wyss, Retired Agricultural Education Instructor at Clear Lake; Mark Zidon, University of Wisconsin-Platteville; Jeff Zobeck, Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators; Regina Oldendorf, Wisconsin FFA Alumni; Sally Albers, Wisconsin Association of FFA; Jeff Hicken, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction; and Cheryl Zimmerman, Wisconsin FFA Center.

Created in 1983, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation funds FFA proficiency awards, career development events, state FFA degrees, sectional leadership workshops, scholarships, chapter awards, agri-science fair, state FFA convention and state officer support.
