More avian flu cases in Iowa

eggsIowa agriculture officials on Wednesday reported six more probable cases of avian flu in commercial poultry farms.

Five of the six cases are in Sioux County.  Three of them are commercial egg laying operations and two are pullet farms.  An estimate of the total number of birds at those sites is pending.

The other case involves a backyard duck flock in O’Brien County.
