Purdue University’s College of Agriculture is ranked fifth-best among colleges of agriculture worldwide.  The British company Quacquarelli Symonds specializes in information about higher education and careers.

QS ranks institutions on 36 subjects based on academic reputation, employer reputation, and research citations per paper.  Jay Akridge, Glenn W. Sample Dean of Agriculture says the ranking is a testament of the great work by Purdue’s faculty, staff, and students.

Purdue placed behind top-rated University of California-Davis, Cornell University, Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and the University of California-Berkley and was tied with University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • I am always proud of my alma mater. This recognition just broadens my smile. Congratulations and much gratitude to the great faculty, administration, alumni, students and other contributors to the culture of aspiration, scholarship, excellence, teamwork, service, and community that have contributed to the greatness of Purdue’s College of Agriculture.
