Severe storms expected for parts of the Plains, Midwest
The National Weather Service Storm Prediction center is forecasting an Enhanced Risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening across parts of the central and southern Plains and mid-Mississippi Valley. Very large hail, damaging wind and tornadoes are expected. Surrounding the Enhanced Risk area, there is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms from north Texas to the Ohio Valley.
