Channel is about the seedsmen

Channel Seed touted their “seedsmen” at the 2015 Commodity Classic.  Kacy Perry, Channel Brand Manager, says it’s all about the partnership the seedsmen have with their customers, “Seedmsen go out multiple times during the growing season; walk their customer’s fields to see how the crop is progressing.  To inspect what type of pressures, disease or insect, they are having.”

Perry tells Brownfield it’s all part of Channel’s Field Check Up Series and the   knowledge that comes from walking those fields and visiting with the farmer. That helps them put their customers in an optimal position for the next year.

Perry says Channel learned a lot about how different hybrids performed under various conditions in 2014.  She also points out that selecting seed is a critical investment and a big decision for growers.  She states that if growers have more expectations from their seed supplier, it’s warranted.  To find out more about Channel Seed, visit their website www.channel.com.
