Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition acquires Vi-COR

Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition recently acquired Vi-COR, an Iowa-based manufacturer of fermented yeast-based feed ingredients and Refined Functional Carbohydrates (RFC) for a variety of animal species.

According to Scott Druker, director of animal nutrition for Arm & Hammer, the acquisition will allow Arm & Hammer to expand its business by marketing products for multiple species. Along with the existing dairy market, Druker says Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition now will be able to utilize Vi-COR’s products and distribution network to serve the beef, poultry and swine segments.

We discussed the acquisition with Druker at the recent NCBA Trade Show in San Antonio.
