Near-record ethanol production last year.

The Renewable Fuels Association says U.S. ethanol production hit 14.3 billion gallons last year and 836 million of those gallons were exported. RFA president and CEO Bob Dinneen says U.S. ethanol was sold to 51 countries with Canada, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines and India the top-5 customers.

The numbers are contained in the “2014 U.S. Ethanol Exports and Imports: Statistical Summary” which will be presented to the National Ethanol Conference in Texas later this month.
