Maximizing your seed investment

DuPont Pioneer is providing an expanded tool that will help growers maximize plant stands and yield potential as they sharpen their pencils heading into the 2015 planting season. 

DuPont Pioneer Field Agronomist Kyle Poling says Encirca services will allow growers to look at their fields in a whole new way, tailoring variable rate seeding prescriptions. 

“To make sure we are placing that seed investment in areas of the field where we are going to maximize return on that.” Poling said. “Increasing seeding rate in the most productive areas and often times pulling back on the seeding rate in those areas that don’t offer as high productivity.” 

Poling says Encirca also provides growers with a nitrogen management component to improve nitrogen efficiency.
