Ohio State Extension beef cattle school

Boosting profit potential and becoming more competitive in the cattle industry will be the focus of the 2015 Ohio State University Extension’s Beef Cattle School. 

Stan Smith, Fairfield Co. Extension educator says the first of the three sessions begins January 27. 

“John Grimes is going to kick things off and set the stage and talk a little bit about what we need to do to be sure that we capitalize on what are historically high prices,” Smith said. “Kind of set the stage for what’s coming down the road, some things you might be cautious of.” 

In addition to January 27, sessions will be held on February 10 and 24 at sites around Ohio and one in Kosciusko County Indiana.
