NDB, DMI & UDIA leadership named

Dairy Checkoff

Leadership for the next year for the National Dairy Board, Dairy Management Incorporated and the International Dairy Foods Association has been elected.

National Dairy Board chair is Zach Myers of Jonesville, North Carolina.  Vice chair is Harold Howrigan Jr. of Sheldon, Vermont.  Larry Shover of Delhi, Iowa is secretary and Ray Prock of Denair, California will serve as treasurer for the 38-member board which oversees the dairy checkoff.

Paul Rovey of Glendale, Arizona has been elected to serve another term as chair of DMI.  Marilyn Hershey of Cochranville, Pennsylvania is vice-chair, Skip Hardie of Lansing, New York is secretary and Larry Hancock of Muleshoe, Texas is treasurer.  DMI manages the dairy checkoff program and is funded by NDB and UDIA.

UDIA will be led by chair Neil Hoff of Windthorst, Texas, 1st vice chair is Tom Dorsey of Caldwell, Idaho.  2nd vice chair American Dairy Association is Tom Woods, Gage, Oklahoma.  2nd vice chair National Dairy Council is Jerry Messer of Richardton, North Dakota.  2nd vice chair UDIA member relations is Paul Broering of St. Henry, Ohio.  Jim Reid of Jeddo, Michigan will serve as secretary and Allen Merrill of Parker, South Dakota is treasurer.

The UDIA is a federation of state and regional dairy farmer-funded promotion organizations that provide marketing programs that are developed and implemented in coordination with its members.
