Farm Science Review has strong opening day

Compared to other first day crowds, Matt Sullivan, Assistant Show Manager at Farm Science Review called Tuesday a strong opening day, with visitors and exhibitors both upbeat.

Matt says because Farm Science Review is university sponsored, it’s a little different from other outdoor farm shows in that education is a big part of the three days.

“Some farm shows its more industry focused, ours is educational and industry, so you can come see the same things, but you can sit down for 20 minutes and hear a seminar on the Farm Bill, or you can learn more about what’s going on in vet medicine,” Sullivan said.

The 2014 Farm Science Review ends on Thursday at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio.
