Farming for Farm Progress
A key element of the Farm Progress Show is the host farmers on whose land the demonstrations are held. Despite planting short-season corn – some as short as 79-day corn, it’s not ready, so harvest and tillage demonstrations will not be conducted this year. During a steady rain last week, host farmers Alan Schoff, June Isaacson and Eric Ziel talked to Brownfield Ag News about what it’s like to farm the Farm Progress Show plots.
