German seed company chooses St. Louis

A leading global seed company from Germany has chosen St. Louis, Missouri to be the home of its new North American research facility.

K-W-S Gateway Research Center will be in the Danforth Plant Science Center’s B-R-D-G Park.

A K-W-S official praised the BioResearch, Development and Growth (B-R-D-G) Park facilities for its “excellent infrastructure” and “top quality science platform.”

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says K-W-S chose St. Louis over San Francisco, Boston and North Carolina’s Research Park Triangle.

Missouri is a leader in the bioscience industry – home to more than 4-thousand agribusiness and life science companies – and is second among states in the number of farms.
