Missouri State Fair on-line entries open May 1

People exhibiting at the Missouri State Fair can begin entering on Thursday, May 1. State Fair Director Mark Wolfe tells Brownfield he expects that day to be busy for a couple of reasons.

“At nine AM, on May 1st our online entry forms become available, so if you’re going to exhibit at the fair, that’s when you need to be calling in, and included in that, which is really important to those folks to spend multiple days there, as an exhibitor, you can do your exhibitor camping at that point,” said Wolfe, during an interview with Brownfield Ag News.

When the State Fair begins in Sedalia on August 7, it will be the first time that Bethany, Missouri farmer Richard Fordyce will be attending as Missouri’s Director of Agriculture.

“I’ve been a fair participant, exhibitor and just attendee most of life,” Fordyce told Brownfield Ag News. “I love the State Fair; it’s something my family looks forward to every year. Certainly, going into this fair I have an increased interest in what’s going on over there.”

The Missouri State Fair theme is Harvest the Fun.
