Non-GMO cereals lack added vitamins

If you choose one of the cereals now being made without genetically modified grains – you may be missing some important vitamins that your body needs.  Dr. Wayne Parrott, crop science professor with the University of Georgia says non-GMO Post GrapeNuts Cereal has a whole host of missing nutrients and Cheerios is missing Vitamin-B 2.  But why?  He says there are not enough non-GMO vitamins on the market to add as supplements.  He says the only non-GMO vitamin producer has closed.  The vast majority of vitamins and enzymes and other food additives are produced through genetic modifications using micro-organisms such as yeast.
