USDA Mandatory in a late afternoon report described cattle trading as slow in the Southern Plains on Friday afternoon on light to moderate demand. Compared to the previous week, early live sales in the Texas Panhandle were light to 3.00 lower at 144.00, with live sales in Kansas 2.00 lower at 145.00. Trading was described as light in Nebraska with live sales 4.00 lower at 146.00 and a few dressed sales from 230.00 to 232.00.
