NAILE Sale of Champion results

At the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Sale of Champions in Louisville, Kentucky Thursday night, six Champion and Reserve Champion animals garnered a grand total of $96,000.

Leading the way was the Grand Champion Steer exhibited by 13-year old Sutton Bellar of Wisner, Nebraska.  Bellar’s 1,315 pound crossbred steer sold for $25,000.

The Reserve Champion Steer, exhibited by Baylor Bonham of Newcastle, Oklahoma, brought $21,000.

Other results from the NAILE Sale of Champions include: 

  • Grand Champion Hog, exhibited by Lyndon Youngblood of Ashdown, Arkansas, $14,500
  • Reserve Champion Hog, exhibited by Hayden Kerkaert, Pipestone, Minnesota, $12,000
  • Grand Champion Wether Lamb, exhibited by Toree Fraze, Portales, New Mexico, $12,500
  • Reserve Champion Wether Lamb, exhibited by Samantha Raute, Carmel, Indiana, $11,000
