Nebraska cattle feeder produces three types of beef
Hank Klosterman manages Grass Valley Farms, a family-owned and family-run cattle operation near David City in east-central Nebraska. The business features a five-thousand head feedlot where they feed their own cattle and do custom feeding as well.
In a recent interview with Brownfield, Klosterman talked about the three types of beef (conventional, all-natural and hormone-free) that they produce in their feedlot. He also discussed the current economics of cattle feeding.
