Right to farm measure advances in Missouri

The Missouri Senate ag committee has unanimously passed the Right to Farm constitutional referendum.  The House Ag Committee passed its version previously with 110 ‘yes’ votes and 41 against.  Now, the measure must pass the full senate with a final agreement reached with the house for it to make it onto the 2014 general election ballot.  The Missouri Farmers Care Coalition says the measure, if passed by voters, would protect farmers from “outside attacks” from animal rights groups and protect “consumers and our food supply.”

  • Big Congratulations to The Missouri Farmers Care Coalition. Can not wait till 2014 to have the honor of voting YES on the Right to Farm Constitutional referendum.
