This week’s House Agriculture Committee hearing included some testy exchanges between Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack and some Republican members of the committee. One of the more intense discussions featured Secretary Vilsack and Georgia Representative Austin Scott debating USDA budget allocations and spending levels. Near the end of the discussion, Ag Committee chair Frank Lucas intervened.
