Method not important, making contact is

It wasn’t that long ago when Bob Peterson, serving as President of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) participated in Ag Day at the Capitol as one of those calling on State Legislators. Now as a State Senator, Peterson is one of those welcoming Farm Bureau members.

“It’s important for me to get the perspective from the width, depth and breadth of the agricultural industry, and how various legislation that we might pass, impacts them directly,” Peterson said. “

And the District 17 State Senator says that while all forms of communication work, taking time to come to Columbus does make a difference.

“Somebody that takes the time, especially from my District, to travel a great distance to visit me in the Statehouse, that has impact, especially if I can put a face together with a name, it impacts on going forward as they text or email,” said the State Senator. “I think it has value, but all methods work, the important thing is to make the contact.”
