National Beef Cook-Off is underway

The 30th edition of the National Beef Cook-Off is underway. 

From now until April 15, 2013, home cooks can submit their best beef recipes online at beefcookoff.org for a chance to win $25,000 and a trip to the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in Washington, D.C.

According to the current chair of the National Beef Cook-Off, Evelyn Brown of Cullman, Alabama, the contest continues to be one of the most highly regarded recipe/cooking contests in the country.  

We visited with Brown at the recent Cattle Industry Convention in Tampa.
