The policy development process

With the backing of Ohio Farm Bureau policy, when Beth Vanderkooi, Director of State Policy for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation walks in to the Ohio Statehouse, she has a clear direction on the issues she’ll be talking with legislators about. The policy development process is taking place during the OFBF’s 94th Annual Meeting underway in downtown Columbus. Beth talked with Brownfield’s Dave Russell about some of the issues to be debated, including the privatization of the Ohio Turnpike.
