FFA’s new mascot

The National FFA has a mascot.

The seven foot tall great horned owl named Flyte will have a busy week, making appearances throughout the various National FFA Convention venues around Indianapolis.

The chief brand ambassador of the National FFA was created by Street Characters in Calgary, Canada.

“I am always extremely impressed by our artists and production team but when Flyte became a reality, the costume just blew me away,” said Aubrey Fishman, director of marketing at Street Characters. “The National FFA Organization was great to work with on this project and we hope that Flyte serves as an engaging brand ambassador for FFA for many years to come.”

It’s taken the National FFA 85 years to finally have a mascot, but already Flyte has his own web site and he’s on Twitter @FlyteTheOwl.
