While a management team, a crew of part time employees and an army of volunteers put this show on, it is 42-member Board of Directors that actually makes up World Dairy Expo. There have been just five presidents of the board over the 48-year history of the show and for the last five years that position has been held by Mike Holschbach of Heatherstone Enterprises farm of Baraboo, Wisconsin. The board is made up of dairy farmers, industry representatives, A.I. companies, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, dairy associations and cooperatives from the U.S. and other countries. Holschbach has a deep appreciation for those who served before him and a clear vision for the future of the show.
