Homan’s host Plenish Meals to the Field

Kevin Homan of Homan Seed Service, A DuPont Pioneer sales representative in Henry County Ohio started the Plenish Meals to the Field event last year as a way to promote Plenish high oleic soybean oil and to thank their customers for their business. It was so successful they did it again this year and on Thursday, October 4, Homan Seed Service not only served meals, prepared with Plenish high oleic soybean oil to farmers who stopped by the farm, Homan’s also delivered 95 meals to farmers busy in the field harvesting the 2012 crop.

While the meals were free, Kevin says they did accept donations, which will go directly to two Henry County organizations.

“The Cancer Society and also Relay for Life,” said Homan. “My secretary, Courtney Sheely has been involved with Relay for Life so we thought we’d combine the two and make it a benefit for everyone in the county.”

As I was leaving Homan Seed Service, Courtney shared with me they had collected $1350 in donations.
