Plenty of pumpkins for decorating and eating

The largest producer of pumpkins in the world is the state of Illinois – and it looks like there will be no shortage for fall decorating and eating this year.  Bruce Curry owns Country Corner Farm Market in northwest Illinois – and says pumpkins like dry weather and his also got just enough rain to have a great crop this year.  I asked Bruce if the Jack-O-Lantern type of pumpkins that are carved for Halloween decorating can be used to make pumpkin pie because I’ve always wanted to know.  His answer is “Yes.”
