Monsanto’s DroughtGard Hybrids are designed to help farmers mitigate the risk of yield loss when experiencing drought stress.
The company’s DroughtGard Marketing Lead, Mark Edge, says the trait combines germplasm selected for drought-tolerant characteristics and the biotechnology drought-tolerant trait, with agronomic recommendations.
He stresses, however, corn still needs water to grow.
