Weather analyst predicts ‘wet’ fall
Jeff Doran, senior business meteorologist with the weather forecasting service Planalytics, has a bit of good news for farmers attending the Farm Progress Show.
Doran says the next 90 days should see above-normal precipitation across much of the Corn Belt. Beyond that, however, Doran says it’s still a little early to make a solid prediction as to whether the drought will continue into 2013.
