Nebraska-based Hoegemeyer Hybrids recently celebrated 75 years in the seed business at its annual Homecoming Field Day near Hooper.
The information-packed event featured three guest speakers, informative breakout sessions and tours of Hoegemeyer seed plots and facilities.
The turnout was excellent, with an estimated 1,000 people in attendance.
Brownfield was also there and had the opportunity to speak with Hoegemeyer general manager Stephan Becerra, as well as long-time Hoegemeyer plant breeder Dr. Tom Hoegemeyer.
