The Ohio State University Agronomic Crops Team will host a sprayer workshop on Wednesday, August 8th at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in Wauseon.
“We’ve got a spray day planned that’s going to highlight some of the sprayer technology we have out there in the field and available to us, as well as looking at that equipment and making sure we’re using it in the most efficient and effective way,” said Greg LaBarge, OSU Extension field specialist, agronomic systems.
LaBarge tells Brownfield actual field demonstrations will be part of the day’s activities.
“We’ll be in a soybean field doing some placement as far as how we look at placing that spray droplet within that canopy, especially important as we talk about fungicides and insecticides because of some of those we need to get lower in the canopy,” LaBarge said.
The day’s program and registration information is available here.
