The EPA reports May biodiesel production totaled 114.9 million gallons, bringing year-to-date production to 445.9 million through the end of May.
The EPA numbers show a total of 120.9 million gallons of Biomass-based Diesel for the month of May, but that figure also includes renewable diesel.
Biodiesel production in 2011 totaled nearly 1.1 billion gallons.
