Kayla Hack chosen to lead Wisconsin FFA

“Exciting and extraordinary!!” That is how Kayla Hack described her feelings when it was announced that she would be the Wisconsin State FFA President for 2012-2013. Hack served as State Vice President last year and becomes the first from her East Troy chapter to be state president.

Her goals are to develop more partnerships with members, agricultural businesses and other organizations. She also wants to push Association membership over the 19,000 mark. She looks forward to getting to know her new officer team:

  • Nick Huffman, Pecatonica, Vice President
  • Logan Wells, Monroe, Vice President

  • Aaron Zimmerman, Spencer, Vice President
  • Bethany Rieth, Oconto Falls, Sentinel
  • Joanna Wavrunek, Denmark, Reporter
  • Emily Watson, Elkhorn, Vice President

Also on Thursday, the top chapters were recognized; Lodi FFA took top honors in both the Student Development and Community Development areas while the Waupaca FFA had the best Chapter Development program. Waupaca was named top chapter in the state, Lodi was second and Cochrane-Fountain City was third.
